At National EAP, giving back to our community is at the heart of who we are. This fall, our team came together for a cause that truly matters: helping to fight food insecurity on Long Island through a virtual food drive benefiting Island Harvest Food Bank.
We’re proud to share that we exceeded our goal of 250 pounds of food, collecting an incredible 308 pounds to support local families in need.
Even though our drive was virtual, the impact was very real. Through online contributions, our employees, clients, partners, and the greater community, made it possible for Island Harvest to provide nutritious meals to hundreds of individuals across Long Island. Every dollar and every “virtual pound” helped fill plates, brighten days, and strengthen our community.
This success reflects the generosity, teamwork, and compassion that define the National EAP community. Whether contributing, spreading the word, or encouraging others to participate, everyone played a part in achieving and surpassing our goal. Moments like this remind us that small actions, when combined, can create powerful change.
Island Harvest is Long Island’s largest hunger-relief organization, dedicated to ending hunger and reducing food waste. Their work ensures that families, children, and seniors have access to healthy food and essential resources, and we’re honored to support their mission.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the drive. Your generosity helped make a meaningful difference for neighbors across our community. At National EAP, we believe that caring for others, whether through workplace wellness or community engagement, builds stronger, healthier connections. Together, we’re not only supporting those in need but also reinforcing the values that make our organization thrive.
Here’s to continuing our tradition of compassion, teamwork, and community impact, one act of kindness at a time.
